I hate puzzles... ok not hate, but I'm really not a huge fan of them. I don't have near the amount of patience required to be a puzzle master. Plus, to make matters worse, I'm color blind. If you've ever looks at most puzzles, generally the require an ability to differentiate between the most minute changes in color. Being color blind creates a unique problem to finishing puzzles.
My wife always laughs when she watches me do a puzzle. Because I can't tell all the small color differences, I don't even try and match the puzzles based on what I see on the front. You might as well put the puzzle together upside down because I don't look at them. I put everything together based on the sides of each piece. let's just say it's a slow and tedious process and one that I usually give up on after about 10-12 minutes.
My wife, on the other hand, is a puzzle gangster. She dominates puzzles like few I have ever seen. If you're ever looking for help finishing a puzzle, she's the woman for the job.
Ok, so what does this have to do with real estate? Nothing... I just thought you'd like to know how bad I am at puzzles. JK, I'm going somewhere with this.
While I may be an anti-puzzle master, the one aspect I love about puzzles is that it a problem needing to be solved. And that's what I love about real estate. It is full of problems needing to be solved. Can't find your dream house? That's a problem I'm excited to solve. Can't sell your house? I can solve that.
It's exciting to think that I'm entering a career which provides endless opportunities to solve problems every day. I know for some people that can seem overwhelming, but for me, it's a reason to get up every day!
